Desktop Voo doo

This is my new idea for a voo doo corkboard, I gave 2 of these out on Christmas. It comes with lil needles. A lot of people liked them, so I think I may look into printing them and selling them to a store? I don't really know where to start with all that.

First things first, I guess my mom was right, I have to sign the item. We learned at Kinkos today that if something is signed, it can't be reproduced without written consent from the signer! Interesting.

So, she was right all along!

Anyone have ideas of how to make this voo doo baby make me rich so I never have to work again? If so, I'll buy you sushi. Haha. I doubt it would ever make me rich, but it would be fun to start selling stuff. Posted by Picasa

A new deal.

So, first time, tried out this lil old system of taking old thrift shop sweaters and making them into beanies. I strayed away from the plans that the books had, and went for this Christmas doozie for me. It looks like something you would wear to bed.

Anyway, I'm real happy with how quick these beanies are, and now I'm going to make a million. Posted by Picasa

How adorable.

I made this little jello shots for Jen's bday party... got the idea from notmartha.org, and it worked out really well. We scooped about eleven oranges out, cut in half to 22 halves, and then I filled them with orange flavored jello jiggler recipe alcohol filled jello. replaced the cold water portion of the recipe with vodka, and doubled the amount of gelatin so that these lil babies wouldn't fall apart.

Since time was a problem, I had to put these in the freezer. To my suprise, they set in only an hour! I did the quick set method involving ice to help as well...

Then, I cut them face down into 4 wedges, totalling almost 88 jello shot slices.

Now that's adorable. Posted by Picasa
